5.7 million tourist arrivals (+23%) at the end of April

Tourist arrivals in Morocco reached, during the first four months of this year, 5.7 million people, recording growth of 23% compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.

“Morocco records an exceptional performance with 5.7 million tourists at the end of April 2025 (+23% vs 2024), or one million additional tourists in just 4 months of 2025. These exceptional figures naturally place Morocco among the most dynamic tourist destinations in the world,” said the ministry in a press release.

The month of April alone saw 1.7 million arrivals, up 27% compared to the same month of 2024, demonstrating an attractiveness which now transcends traditional seasons. Cited in the press release, Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor stressed: “A million additional visitors at the start of the year usually quieter, constitutes a strong signal for the rest of the year 2025”.
