Morocco-Spain: Signature of 4 Catalan projects of an investment of 500 MDH

Morocco-Spain: Signature of 4 Catalan D projects

Four memorandum of understanding was signed on Wednesday in Rabat to make Catalan investments totaling 500 million DH, with the creation of more than 700 jobs in Tangier, Tétouan and Kénitra. These projects concern several sectors, including the automobile, waste management, packaging and building materials.

The signature took place during a meeting between the Minister Delegate responsible for the investment, convergence and evaluation of public policies, Karim Zidane and a delegation of Catalan companies led by Josep Sánchez Llibre, president of the main employers’ confederation of Catalonia.

In addition, Catalan representatives welcomed the quality of the reception and reaffirmed their desire to strengthen their establishment in Morocco, announcing a new economic mission planned for the year.
