African Banker Awards: Nadia Fettah elected best finance minister of the year

African Banker Awards: Nadia Fettah elected best Minister of Finance on

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah was awarded as “Minister of Finance of the Year” during the 2025 “African Banker” trophies organized in Abidjan, for her rigorous macroeconomic management and her reforms promoting investment. Patricia Ojangole, CEO of the Uganda Development Bank, was crowned “banker of the year”, while Idrissa Nassa, CEO of Coris Bank International, received the “prize for the accomplishment of a life”.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was distinguished as “Central Bank Governor of the Year”, and the Eastern and Southern African Commercial and Development Bank (TDB) was elected “African Bank of the Year”.
