The investment capital in Morocco records an unprecedented dynamic. In 2024, fundraising reached a record level of 3,887 million dirhams, bringing the total cumulative to 13,765 MDH over the period 2018-2024, an increase of 50 % compared to the previous period.
This performance is widely supported by international development organizations and asset management companies, which alone represent 65 % of the capital raised. Moroccan investors are also strengthening their presence, from 25 % to 53 % of levees. Investments follow the same upward trend. In 2024, 1,699 MDH were injected into 40 companies (23 news and 17 follow -up), for a total of 15.7 MMDH invested since 2018. The service sector captures 41 % of the amounts, monitoring by health and education. Casablanca-Settat remains the flagship region with 72 % of the amounts invested.
The development capital dominates with 84 % of the amounts, but the priming and the risk capital rise in power, representing 42 % of operations in volume, although their financial weight remains limited. The outings progress and testify to a maturation of the market.
In 2024, disinvestments reached 1,067 MDH, for a total of 9.3 MMDH since 2018. Transfer on the secondary market, upstairs, now represent 44 % of outings, compared to 3 % barely between 2006 and 2011. IPOs on the stock market is also gaining momentum, reaching 22 % of the outings made over the recent period. The performance of the investment capital remains solid. The rate of internal performance (sorting) medium gross amounts to 12 % out of 2000-2024, with sectoral peaks: 23 % in health, 15 % in services, and 14 % in construction.
The average multiple appears at 1.9, for an average detention duration of 6.2 years. For AMIC, these figures confirm the entry of the Moroccan market into a phase of maturity, marked by a generalized increase in levies, investments, outings, and an attractive return on investment for entrepreneurs and investors.
