During the regional symposium of the 24th of the United Nations Committee, recently held in the city of Daily of East Timor, Muhammad Aba, the elected official on the Eye-Sakia al-Hamra side, examined the international dynamics supporting the Moroccan fold and the initiative of government autonomy presented by the kingdom for the final fold of this regional conflict.
Mr. Aba, who participated in the work of this symposium, underlined the invitation of the president of the 24th Committee, as well as for years that this international support has been strengthened, recalling the historic decision of the United States, which has renewed confirmation of its recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty on its desert.
He also mentioned the position of France and many countries, in particular Europeans and African, which supports the Moroccan initiative for the auto-government as the most serious, realistic and credible solution for the regional conflict manufactured around the Moroccan Sahara.
In the context of this dynamism, he stressed that around thirty countries have decided to open public consulates in the cities of El -Ayoun and Dakhla, which stresses that the dynamism of the international insurance of Moroccan Sahara is irreversible.

He reviewed the complete socio-economic dynamic that we see by the southern regions led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, stressing that Morocco has made an irreversible option, since the completion of its territorial integrity in 1975, improving the upgrade of this region of the kingdom to become a model for sustainable and intense development.
He said: “Moroccan Sahara has now become a space full of opportunities, where democracy, infrastructure, clean energy and social justice are the pillars of a new era. »»
Mr. Aba noted that the frequency of this development dynamic has accelerated thanks to the new model for the development of southern regions launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in 2015, adding that this model works to mobilize all energies in order to develop great value sectors and guarantee suitable means of subsistence for Moroccan Sahara.
In this context, he has monitored many structural projects that aim to improve competitiveness and attract investments, while directly meeting the needs of the local population, in particular the Tiznit-Dakhla motorway, since this road will greatly encourage trade, movement and regional integration.
Among these projects which contribute to the transformation of the region into an economic pole, the spokesman underlined the port of the Atlantic, which should become a major commercial door to West Africa, adding that this structure improves the position of the southern regions as a basic link between the kingdom and the rest of the continent.
He added that these development projects contribute to the strengthening of diplomatic radiation, on the basis of a royal initiative which reaffirms Morocco’s commitment for the benefit of African solidarity and economic integration.
He added that these projects also include two technological poles in the mouth of the mouth (2 billion dirhams), which includes the multidisciplinary university Mohammed VI, and a secondary school for excellence and a center of skills and rehabilitation, as well as the first medical college in the southern regions (257 million dirhams) and a university hospital center (1.2 billion Dirams) beds.
He pointed out that the Moroccan Sahara is about to become a major player in the national energy transition, recording that the two solar energy stations “Nour El -Ayoun” and “Nour Boujdour”, as well as the wind power fields in Tarfaya and Akhfarir, contributes, in addition to reducing carbon emissions, in the fact of strengthening global.
Regarding the red ocular side of Laayoune, which attends one of the highest rates of internal products in the kingdom, with more than 71,000 dirhams in 2024, Mr. Aba stressed that the question is not linked to statistical numbers, but is rather the sign of a successful model, leading a monarchy.
On the other hand, the speaker addressed the miserable circumstances which are still in the Tindouf camps (southwest of Algeria), explaining that the population held in these camps is deprived of their identity, their freedom of movement and its fundamental rights.
He recorded that the country of the incubator refuses to conduct statistics for this population, in this way, in collaboration with the basic obligations of the United Nations and by ignoring the resolution of the Security Council 2654.
Mr. Aba denounced the systematic diversion of the humanitarian aid designated for the inhabitants of the Tindouf camps, which was once again confirmed by the global food program in 2024, and condemned ideological indoctrination and military recruitment for children in these camps.
He added that “Tindouf is not a humanitarian refuge, but rather an area outside the law and a fertile Hotbred for extremism, the trafficking in human beings and the connection to terrorist networks of the Sahel region”, recalling that many leaders of these same armed groups were former members of the Armed Polisario +group, and received their training in these same camps.
He concluded that, and at a time when the Moroccan Sahara appears as a land of peace, investment, clean energy, gender equality, the spirit of young people and true hope, the Tindouf camps perpetuate the recession, the repression and the loss of the horizon.
