The Kenyan Minister for Foreign Affairs continues his visit to Morocco. With Aziz Akhannouch, discussions focused on “means of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Morocco and Kenya,” the presidency of the executive said on Tuesday 27 May 27 in a press release. “Responding to my invitation, SE Akhannouch expressed his intention to go to Kenya, accompanied by a delegation of Moroccan investors, an initiative aimed at further strengthening economic and diplomatic ties.”

Kenya insists on coffee and tea

As part of his visit to the kingdom with a strong economic component, the Kenyan Minister for Foreign Affairs met with the Director General of the ONCF. “Morocco continues to show the way in terms of infrastructure in Africa, with its high -speed rail line connecting Tangier and Casablanca at an impressive speed of 320 km/h, the third faster in the world,” noted the chief of diplomacy.
“During a fruitful exchange with Mr. Mohamed Rabie Khlie, director general of the National Railway Office (ONCF), I learned that their rail network serves more than 5.5 million travelers each year. We have discussed the potential for collaboration between the ONCF and Kenya Railways to improve Kenya’s connectivity in terms of passenger and goods transport, by strengthening links within the country and in the region ”, he said.
