A young man prosecuted for threats against Akhannouch on Facebook

A complaint filed by Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch led to the arrest of a young man in Agadir. He is accused of death threats, defamation and incentive to violence, following publications that he shared on Facebook.

According to Some media sourcesthe suspect would have posted messages in Arabic and Amazigh on his Facebook account, containing explicit threats and calls for violence. These publications would be a reaction to the outbreak of prices that currently affects Morocco.

The prosecution ordered the suspect’s police custody to allow an in -depth investigation into the circumstances and the context of these controversial publications.
