The Sevilla FC launched a hymn in Arabic before the friendly match against the Wydad

The Seville FC revealed on Tuesday an Arab version of its centenary anthem, on the occasion of its friendly match Against the Wydad AC in Casablanca.

This Arab adaptation was translated, produced and interpreted by the Moroccan artist Hamid El Hadri, known for his multicultural repertoire which includes Arabic, Spanish, French, English and Italian, according to a press release from the club.

Originally composed in 2005 by the Sevillian musician Javier Labandón, alias “El Arrebato”, the anthem of the centenary celebrates the club’s 100th anniversary and has become an emblematic song for Seville supporters around the world.

This new version in Arabic marks a key step in strengthening Seville FC links with its expanding Arab fans community, the club said.
