The 1st Dou Al Hijja of the year 1446 of the Hegira corresponds to Thursday, May 29, 2025 and the Eid El-Adha will be celebrated on Saturday June 7, announced this Tuesday evening the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.
In a statement, the ministry specifies that the lunar crescent announcing the month of Dou Al Hijja of the year 1446 of the Hegira was not observed Tuesday evening (May 27).
As a result, the month of Dou Al Qiida 1446 H will have counted 30 days and the 1st Dou Al Hijja will be on Thursday May 29, 2025. Eid will therefore be celebrated on 10 Dou Al Hijja 1446 corresponding to June 7, 2025.
