OMSA World Assembly: Morocco reaffirms its commitment to world animal health

On the occasion of the 92ᵉ General session of the World Organization for Animal Health (OMSA), held in Paris, Morocco has renewed its strategic commitment to animal health on a global scale.

The Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Waters and Forests Ahmed El Bouari insisted on the need for reinforced international cooperation to combat cross -border animal diseases, highlighting the effectiveness of the vaccination campaigns carried out in the kingdom.

In addition, Ahmed El Bouari also called for the use of quality vaccines, to increased technical support on the part of organizations such as the World Organization for Animal Health (OMSA) and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), as well as better coordination in order to deal with emergency health situations.
