The Minister Highlighted that the number of Frameworks specialized in the Field of Mental and Mental Health Reached Until the Year 2025 A Total of 3.230 Health Professionals, Distributed as follows: 319 Doctors Specializing in Psychiatry in the public and 274 doctors in the deprivate Sector, 62 Doctors Specializing in Psychiatry for Children in the Public Sector and 14 in the Private Sector, in Addition to 1700 Nurses Specializing in Mental Health in the public sector.

The Minister stressed that the Ministry, within the framework of the National Strategic Plan for Mental Health 2030, endeavors to improve the health offer thanks to several practical axes aimed at providing services and improving their quality, and this is obvious to generalize the interests of mental and mental health in public hospitals with all the objective of ensuring urgent cases and improving the psychological and social rehabilitation services for psychological and mental disabilities.
Reform the legal and organizational system
On the other hand, the Minister said that the ministry supports the reform of the legal and regulatory system linked to mental health, by examining the legal framework for mental health to adapt it to international standards and to develop treatment protocols for priority disorders such as schizophrenia, depression, suicide behavior and other.
Al -Tahrawi also revealed that a dozen days ago, he had chaired a central meeting devoted to the presentation and study of the content of the national and mental health strategy, which was prepared in consultation with various interlocutors, and he is currently working to follow the activation of this strategy in the next few weeks to determine the priority measures, in the preparation of his real download in the coming weeks.
