The accident occurred during the night from Friday to Saturday. The 15-year-old, who was on a motorcycle with another person, hit the wall of a tunnel. Seriously injured, the two victims were transported to Tangier hospital where they were admitted to the emergency room. Unfortunately, Mohamed Bakkali succumbed to his injuries.

The announcement of his sudden death aroused great emotion and deep sadness among the members of his family and his club. “Today we lost one of our faithful children, Mohamed Bakkali, who left an indelible mark on our hearts. We ask God to grant him mercy and to give patience to his family and friends,” Wydad Tanger said in a statement published on its official page.
